2Baba – Wizkid Is Like Ronaldo Or Maradona And A Legend
Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, is of the opinion that Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is a legend of his time.
Innocent Idibia while speaking on his yet to be released Album “Warrior”, touched on a number of issues lingering in the entertainment industry, and of such, is who and who is a legend and who is not.
CityBuzz recall that, Timaya, During a radio interview with Soundcity 96.5 Port Harcourt, said:
“In this part of the world, many artistes when they get to 10 years in the industry will start shouting ‘I’m a legend, whereas the only one person who can be referred to as legend is 2Baba.”
2Baba corroborated what Timaya said back in October 2018 when he asserted that a number of singers would confer on themselves, legendary title having released one hit song.
The Amaka crooner is about to release a new album titled “WARRIOR”. The father of six has been teasing fans with snippet of the tracks from the album.
Tubaba features Wizkid on a track titled “O PO”. Speaking about why he has to collaborate with Wizkid, the former Plantashun Boiz group member said Wizkid is a legend for his generation.
Quoting 2Baba:
“Wizkid is one of the legend of his generation, and i don’t use that word legend lightly. In as much as i want to say… everybody is a legend these days, the word legend has been watered down because anyone with a hit song has become a ‘legend’. He is a boy that just come up, he is lyrically there, but just given the fans what the fans are yearning for at the moment.”
