Ahead of the double-header Paris 2024 Olympics final round qualifier, Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum, has heaped praises on the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, stating that, they deserve some level of respect.

The American, added that, his team, the Super Falcons of Nigeria are however, one of the best teams in the world.

Randy Waldrum speaks in Abuja days before they will face South Africa in the first leg of the final round of the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifier.

Responding to questions on his thoughts about the South African team who have arrived and began training in Abuja ahead of the Super Falcons, Waldrum said, “My thoughts on South Africa is that they are a very good side, and they are the African champions, we have to respect them.

” I love the individual talents they have upfront, in particular, they are very dangerous, and I think the coach did a really good job organizing them.”

Waldrum however reiterated how good his team has been since the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia.

He noted that, the Super Falcons of Nigeria should be ranked among world best teams.

In his words, *As I’ve said before, and I would say it again, I really like our team and our squad, and I have all the confidence in them that we will perform very well.”

He went ahead to add that ” I think this team is world best and have the ability to be one of the world’s best teams.
