The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has invited applications from qualified candidates ahead of Edo, Ondo Governorship elections.
The commission made this known via its x handle on Sunday.
The advert reads as below:
VACANCIES FOR AD-HOC STAFF FOR #EdoDecides2024 AND #OndoDecides2024 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates to serve as Ad-Hoc staff for the Edo and Ondo Governorship Elections in the following categories:
A. Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs)
B. Presiding Officers (POs)
C. Assistant Presiding Officers (APOS)
E. RAC Managers.
D. Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs)
Applicants are to indicate their interests by registering via the INECPRES, which opens on Monday 15th July and closes at 12midnight on Monday 19th August 2024.
METHOD OF ONLINE APPLICATION
The Web version (using a laptop, desktop or cybercafe) shall be accessible via the portal: pres.inecnigeria.org
The android mobile app (android users only) shall be accessible via the link: inecpres-app.com
NOTE:
1. Applicants must not be a political party member.
2. Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.
3. Applicants must reside in the STATE selected except for RATECHS.
