In his speech, Governor AbdulRahman commended Kanayo O. Kanayo for his enduring contributions to Nollywood and emphasized Kwara State’s growing role in Nigeria’s film industry. He also expressed excitement about the newly inaugurated Sugar Factory Film Studios, revealing plans to host two major epic films at the facility in the coming year.

“Our goal is to position Kwara State as a central hub for film production in Nigeria,” the governor said. “We look forward to welcoming filmmakers and showcasing our state’s potential on the big screen.”
