Coronavirus: Davido Halts A Good Time Tour
Nigerian afro pop sensation, David Adeleke, known by his stage name as Davido has postponed his “Good Time Tour”.
Davido announced the postponement via his social media handle on Friday morning due to the widespread of Coivd-19.
The virus which currently has no cure, started in Wuhan, China, but has spread globally. Governments, including the United States, Italy have placed travel restrictions to and from some countries over the outbreak.
Announcing the decision to suspend the musical concert tour, the FIA crooner wrote: “I’m saddened to halt what has been a fantastic sold-out tour so far.”
He however said the reason is for his fans safety. In Davido’s words: “postponing is the right thing to do. The health and safety of my fans and staff is most paramount and nothing else matters.”
Davido bid everyone to be safe and prayed that God will be with us.
