Coronavirus: Easter Sunday’s AY Live Postponed Indefinitely
The 2020 edition of AY Live, themed “Timeless Tradition” has been postponed indefinitely.
The annual standup comedy live show, usually organised by Nigerian Ace comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, has to be postponed over the scourge of covid-19.
Lagos State government announced restrictions on gathering of people over fifty, which also impact on religious activities across the state.
In compliance with the directive, the organiser of the Standup comedy show, AY announced via his social media handle that this years event has been postponed till further notice.

The Merry Men producer laments millions of naira already spent on the planning and preparation for the show.
He appealed to sponsors and audience who have been looking forward to the date, and those who already purchase their tickets.

NOTICE OF AY LIVE ON EASTER SUNDAY: TIMELESS TRADITION POSTPONEMENT
It is with duty and in acknowledging of current realities that Í write to inform you that we are postponing this year’s edition of ÁY LIVE ON EASTER SUNDAY’ due to the global ‘Corona Virus’ pandemic .
This decision is inevitable as we strive to do our quota by stopping the spread of Corvid19 by encouraging social distancing and in accordance with the Lagos State Government directive on public gatherings.
I deeply appreciate your unending and invaluable support for the AY brand.
We will surely communicate the new date once given the all clear by the relevant authorities.
