Davido – Nigerian Entertainment Is The Bigger Than Politics
David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, a Nigerian singer has said that Nigerian entertainment is the biggest thing to come out of Nigeria, hence active politics in Nigeria will not be a problem for him.
The multiple awards winning singer, shared this thought while responding to a tweet from his fan on Twitter who said he won’t survive two weeks in the murky waters of politics.
The twitter user wrote, “Davido just two weeks in politics body go tell u, u think to say na studio to compose song, u are playing with what is bigger than you, have u seen ur mate in politics.”
Reacting to the user’s opinion, Davido said, “Nigerian entertainment is the biggest thing to come out of Nigeria … I don’t think politics will be a problem.”
FIA Crooner has history with Nigerian politics when he quit his National Youth Service programme to join his uncle vying for the position of governor of Osun State in 2019.
