Nigeria’s Falconets have on Thursday morning, lost their second Group game at the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup against three times Champions, Germany.
Goals from Alara Sehitler in 17th minutes gave Germany the lead, before Chiamaka Okwuchukwu capitalizes on a German defender error to restore parity in the 50th minutes.
However, eleven minutes later, Sofie Ernst restores Germany Women’s lead when she scores the second goal for Germany by tapping the ball into the net from goal mouth.
The Falconets scored a second goal but was disallowed for offside and in the 93rd minutes Sarah Ernst put the icing on the cake for Germans by scoring a header from a close range after a cross from the wing.

Germany have now qualified for the next stage having defeated Venezuela in their opening game. Nigeria have three point from two games and will look forward to bouncing back in their last group game against Venezuela.
