Ighalo Nominated For Europa League Player Of The Week

Manchester United forward, Jude Odion Ighalo has no doubt been in sizzling form in front of goal, since starting for Manchester United.

Ighalo was handed a starter’s role in the Red Devil’s Last 16 first leg fixture against the Austrians inside Linzer Stadium.

And he justified Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s decision by putting the English team ahead in the 28th minute. The Man Utd No 25 was voted man of the match.

Odion Ighalo has scored in all three of his starts in all competitions for Manchester United, with the ex-super eagles star netting four goals in total.

Following his stunning goal against LASK on Thursday, the Manchester United forward has been nominated alongside three others for UEFA Europa League player of the week recognition.

The Nominees include: Samuele Campo⁣, Odion Ighalo⁣ Charles Aránguiz⁣ and Marcos Antônio.
