Sonia Ighalo: On the closing date of summer transfer window, Odion Ighalo had the choice of returning to English premier league. He eventually pen a six month contract with his favourite football club, Manchester United.Ever since signing for the red devils, Jude Ighalo has become many Nigerians football lovers’ sensation. Ighalo, is also delighted, clinching the United deal on the last day of January transfer window.

Of course, that is not the news, as the former Super Eagles forward has featured for the Manchester club eight times, scoring four goals in all competitions.
But what is new, is that, Odion Ighalo’s wife, Sonia, is also trending but for a different reason. Adesuwa has been in brawl with many online trolls. The situation forced her to say that; Ighalo should have penned a contract with Spurs instead of Manchester United.
Recently, Sonia changed her Instagram handle from @sjighalo24 to @desuwa30. This led to speculation of a marital crisis, couple with series of allegations against the Man Utd. forward.

Given Sonia’s online drama, many believed the mother of three and Jude have parted ways, so, one troll said “Since She left, Pappi signed for Man Utd.” Another troll simply teased Adesuwa that, her husband didn’t share her photo to celebrate her birthday.
Reacting to the trolls that have been coming at her constantly, Sonia said many followers of Jude didn’t recognised him while he was with ‘small clubs’. She reminded the newly activated Ighalo’s fans of how he missed a goal at Russia 2018. She also confirmed her knowledge of her husband’s choices on his way back to England.
The athletic, stunning Ighalo’s wife called the trolls ”Lazy Naija youth” while educating them on all the ups and down that have characterized Jude’s career.
She assume Ighalo’s current popularity and the backlash she’s been receiving might not surfaced, if Ighalo had signed for Spurs.
