Kogi: Gov. Yahaya Bello Gets First Female ADC
The Nigeria Police Force has deployed Ifeoma Akaya to serve as Aide de Camp, ADC, to the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
Akaya, a lawyer and daughter of the late Commissioner of Police, Charles Akaya is the first female officer to serve as ADC to a Nigerian governor.
In a facebook post by Onogwu Galacticus II as cited by citynews, the posting of Akaya, an Assistant superintendent of police to serve as ADC to Governor Yahay Bello followed the transfer of Usman Shugaba who is currently serving as ADC to the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
On January 27th, 2020, Mr. Bello was sworn-in as governor for second term in office after emerging winner in the November 2019 Kogi governorship election.
