Labelling Actresses As Prostitutes – The Bane Of Nollywood Actresses Unhappy Homes – Stella Udeze

Published on

Stella Udeze, the Nollywood actress, is of the opinion that the act of tagging actresses as prostitutes is the reason behind many failed relationships and unhappy homes for female thespians.

Ms Stella said the issue of failed relationships isn’t the fault of the actresses but the prevalent perception of often unfairly labelling women in Nollywood as prostitutes.

Stella in a chat with Potpourri, stated that eighty percent of men in Nigeria hold the belief that being an actress equates to being a prostitute.

She said, “80 percent of men in Nigeria feel that being an actress makes you a Prostitute, this is the reason that some actresses don’t seem to have a happy relationship.”

She however urge men to understand that, though there might be actresses with vad character but not all. She advised me to learn to differentiate the good from the bad.
