Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has finally let fans in on the hilarious and unexpected way he met the love of his life, Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo.

The couple, who recently tied the knot in a beautiful Islamic traditional wedding in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, last Friday, didn’t have a fairy-tale beginning—unless you count missed flights, business-class struggles, and a woman who laughed at his misfortune!

An Airport, a Missed Flight, and a Laugh That Changed Everything

Speaking at their surprise second engagement party in Tanzania on Wednesday, Juma Jux took a trip down memory lane, recalling the exact moment he first laid eyes on Priscilla.

“The first time I saw Priscilla was in Rwanda. I had missed my flight, and to make things worse, I couldn’t even secure a business-class seat on the next available flight because it was fully booked. I was furious,” he confessed.

As he grudgingly walked past the business-class section, he caught sight of Priscilla—and what was she doing? Laughing at him!

Yes, while Jux was fuming over his travel mishap, Priscilla was having the time of her life, amused by his predicament.

“I saw her laughing at me. Imagine! At that moment, I thought, ‘Wow, who is this woman with the audacity to laugh at my pain?’” Jux said, grinning.

Mission Impossible: Winning Priscilla’s Heart

From the very start, Jux knew there was something special about Priscilla—but getting her attention was another story.

“She took my number, and I told her to text me. Guess what? She didn’t. When we met again, I texted her. Did she reply? No! I was starting to wonder, ‘Does this girl even know who I am?’” he joked.

Despite being a big deal in East Africa, with thousands of fans constantly recognizing him, Priscilla remained unimpressed.

“God brought everything together at the perfect time,” he said with a smile.
