Mercy Aigbe Berates Colleagues, Adopts Davido’s Words

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mercy Aigbe has lashed at her colleagues whom according to her, are delighted in bringing other actors down rather than lifting them up.

Mercy who was speaking via her vlogging channel, narrated how ‘the successful’ colleagues impede the upcoming from growing.

The “Yeye Alase” actress is of the opinion that A-list actors, or the so called “successful” should pave way for the upcoming.

Mercy does not spare other nollywood members, who are on the same pedestal as she comments on their self-centered attitudes.

Mercy said some of these contemporaries would also love to be the only one featuring in almost all the movies.

Mercy however borrowed the words of Nigerian musician, David Adeleke aka Davido to advice her colleagues whom she believes does not want others to rise.

Quoting Mercy in parts:

“….it shouldn’t be, you should support people, and that is what makes you a true achiever..” Mercy then goes on to quote Davido thus: “We rise by lifting others”.

Speaking ahead of her advise, Mercy said and we quote:

“.. You find some people in my industry who want to be the only one shinning, it is not, done, it cannot happen, you can’t be the only one shinning.” “As you are praying to shine other people are praying to shine. Who doesn’t have mouth to pray and who told you, it is only your pray God will answer…..”.
