Naira Marley Reveals The Evidence EFCC Found On His Laptop

Nigeria’s singer, Afeeze Fashola, also known by his stage name as Naira Marley has opened up on the reason he was arrested and arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes commission (EFCC).

Naira Marley, a UK Based Nigerian artiste arrived Nigeria in 2019 for his musical video shoot, only to be picked up by the officers of the anti-graft agency.

Fashola was detained and eventually arraigned in court for cyber crime. An incident which also led to the singer’s popularity and the emanation of Marlians nation.

Naira Marley Reveals Evidence Found On His Laptop by EFCC

Fashola revealed that the EFCC officers found numbers on his laptop, the reason he was arrested and charged to court for cyber crime.

He decided not to speak about what the numbers are, whether they are credit card numbers or others.

The Marlians president also refuted the allegation of a stolen car in which his name had popped up, as the alleged culprit.

CityBuzz recalled that both Naira Marley and the police agreed to settle out of court.

This is the first time the soapy singer will be speaking on his travail with the anti graft agency.

In May 2019, certain images of the singer surfaced online where he was been declared wanted in the UK. Corroborating the images, Marley said he has been arrested 124 times in the United Kingdom.

Afeeze also failed to clearly state his source of first huge earnings (money) in England, which according to him is about £250,000. The High court in Ikoyi, Lagos has adjourned till May 2020 further hearing of his case.
