Veteran Nollywood actor, Zulu Adigwe, has been confirmed dead after his death rumour surfaced on social media on Tuesday.
Adigwe’s death was announced by a movie producer, Stanley Nwoko, in a post on his Instagram page.
The passing away of Adigwe has thrown the Nigerian movie industry into mourning after the news was confirmed.
The actor cum singer whom during his days was best known for his paternal roles in movies was first mourn by his colleague, Stanley Nwoko, who wrote in his social media handle, “Rest in peace, good actor.”
Adigwe’s death has a accumulated the numbers of Nollywood actors lost in a short space.
The ‘Basi and Company’ star actor died just two weeks after Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors drowned in a boat accident at Anam River.
Adigwe was popular for portraying fatherly role in movies but his breakthrough role playing ‘Mr. B’ in a popular sitcom titled “Basi and Company.”
Zulu Adigwe also appeared in the 2019 movie titled “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
