Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker has equaled Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-scoring record in the Italian Serie A.
Cristiano Ronaldo was the only striker to have scored in eight straight Serie A games, a feat Osimhen has now achieved.
The Napoli talisman is the highest Serie A goal scorer in the current campaign with nineteen goals from twenty matches. He has a total of twenty-one goals so far, two of such from the Champions League.
He won the Serie A Player of the Month award for January and remains on course for similar recognition for the month of February.
