Paris 2024 ¦ Super Falcons Whip Ethiopia 4-0 In Abuja, To Face Cameroon Next
Nigeria’s Super Falcons showed class against Ethiopia in the second leg of their game against Ethiopia in Abuja.
Super Falcons who were held by the Lucy of Ethiopia to a 1-1 draw a week ago, put four behind their opponents to set a next-round match against Cameroon.
The two legs ended 5-1 in favour of the Nigerians who are now inching closer to the Paris 2024 Olympic games.

In the 50th minute, ‘Agba baller’ as she’s fondly called, Asisat Oshoala, dribbles in from the right to set up Rasheedat Ajibade for Nigeria’s second goal of the match.
Asisat Oshoala gets on the scoresheet to make it three for the Super Falcons.
In about 20 minutes to the end of the game Oshoala races in from the right again to set up “girl with the blue hair”, Rasheedat Ajibade, for her second and our fourth of the match.
Nigeria will now battle Cameroon for a place in the final playoff round.

The Cameroonians in the second round defeated Uganda 3-0, to advance 3-2 on aggregate.
Uganda held a 2-0 advantage in the first leg and needed to avoid a defeat in Yaounde to cause an upset.
Njoya Ajara gave the Lionesses the lead in the first half while Monique Ngock added a second at the start of the second half to drag the tie back on leveled terms on aggregate.
Nothing could separate the two sides in regulation time, but Falone Meffometou struck the clincher in extra time to complete the turnaround for Cameroon.
The game between Nigeria and Cameroon will be played between the 19th and 28th of February next year.
Only two teams will represent Africa at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
