For fans it’s all about who is superior, for DJ, is about entertaining their listeners and showing superiority between whose got the best contents.
As for the media and analysts, their objectives is to analyze trends and predict future. Which artists will remain relevant in years to come.
So, comparison has been with us for decades. However, Rema has said that he does not want to be compared with other artistes, especially those he considered heroes.
The Beamer crooner wants everyone to elevate and promote their own, rather than bringing them down with comparisons.
The singer advised that, focus should be on the future of Afrobeat. In Rema’s words:

Divine, had earlier encouraged his fans that this trying time of lockdown and Covid-19 will soon be over. Asserting that he missed being on the road.
In his words,” Soon all these will be over, i want to tour Canada and Belgium. I missed being on the road.”
