Singer simisola Ogunlewe, simply known as Simi has voiced her opinion on those who consider people berating them to comply with social distancing order as enemy.
The Federal Government, a week ago announced movement restrictions in three states; Abuja, Lagos and Ogun to curb the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
It could however be seen that a number of notable people ignorantly engage in activities that violate the order.
One of such people is Nollywood actress,Funke Akindele-Bello, who was arrested on Sunday evening for hosting a house party amidst Covid-19 Lockdown order.
Funke’s action sparked online outrage, and she was arrested. The police has also summon Naira Marley and JJC Skillz who is the Celebrant at house party.
Her husband, JJC Skillz however, lashed back at trolls, saying they can continue ranting.
Simi, who simply voiced her opinion said that, Ignorance a disease, and it is an expensive one.
In Simi’s words, “Ignorance can be such a costly disease.” I m tired of people thinking people telling them to stay safe are the enemy.”
Funke Akindele has since been disown by NCDC and Dettol brand Ambassador.
