Why I Will No Longer Do Rap Music, But Afrobeat – Naira Marley

Nigeria’s Afro pop singer, Azeeze Fashola, also known as Naira Marley has said that, his previous style of music gives the younger ones wrong ideas.

Speaking during an interview obtained by CityBuzzthe Tesumole crooner acknowledged that Rap is violent and gives younger ones wrong ideas.

The “Marlians” president wouldn’t do rap songs any more, because in his views, rap is too vulgar, and violence.

Marley said this when asked about the genre of songs his fans should be expecting.

In Fashola’s words:

“Rap is violent, i have been giving the kids a wrong idea, Afrobeat is the way.”

Azeez Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is known as the president of his controversial fan base, “Marlians”

Naira Marley has had about 28 songs which include: Soapy, Tesumole, Opotoyi and so on.
