WAFU B U-17 Girls Championship Draw ¦ Flamingos To Play Niger, Ivory Coast In Preliminary Rounds
The draw for the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B U17 Girls Championship has been concluded and Nigeria’s Flamingos have been pitched against Niger and Côte D’Ivoire in Group B.
Ghana, the hosts, and another seeded country are pitted against Benin Republic and Burkina Faso in Group A.
Only six of the seven countries of the WAFU Zone B will partake in the tournament scheduled to begin on the 12th of December at Accra.
Citysports Confirms that the tournament will also serve as qualifiers for the CAF U-17 Girl’s Nations Cup.
