WAFU B U17 AFCONQ | Golden Eaglets Of Nigeria Held By Burkina Faso

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets were held to a goalless draw at the Accra University stadium by the young Stallions of Burkina Faso in the opening Group B game of the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 Boys Championship and AFCON qualifiers.

Nigeria dominated the game in both halves but couldn’t convert their dominance into goals.

The Burkinabes failed to create any clear-cut opportunities for the entire duration of the game.

Manu Garba’s side will take on Niger Republic in their next game on Sunday.

The Eaglets will round up their group stage campaign against the Benin Republic three days later.
