The Osun State Police Command in the early hours of Sunday have arrested a suspected cultist, Rasheed Hammed, popularly known as Rasidi Oko’lu.
According to a reliable security sources, Oko’lu was arrested in his hideout in Osogbo, Osun State capital around 4am by men of the Anti-Cultism Unit of Osun Police Command.
Oko’lu’s arrest is coming about five-months after he was declared Wanted.
He was declared wanted in March by the police for allegedly causing the death of a Higher National Diploma graduate of Banking and Finance of Federal Polytechnic, Ede, awaiting his call-up letter, as well as, a commercial motocyclist, whose identities were not made known during a fight in Ede.
Osun Police Command Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirm the arrest via text message which reads, “Yes. We arrested him last night.”
