It’s the fifth round of the English FA Cup and Manchester United are drawn against Derby County at home. Derby County is Wayne Rooney, a former Manchester United midfielder new club.
Prior to the fifth round game, Wayne spoke with a former teammate, Wes Brown and he sincerely expressed himself about the pairing that would see him go against his old club, where another old teammates, Solskjear, is now a coach.
The Man United all time goal scorer admitted that he’s been looking forward to play against his old club since joining Derby counting.
When asked if he’s looking forward to the match against United, Rooney said and we quote: “I can’t wait! Obviously, the draw, the one team I wanted was Manchester United.”

Wes put Rooney on the spot, by asking if he’s going to celebrate should he score against the Reds. Wayne simply responded thus:
“Yeah, of course [laughs]. My time at Manchester United, I loved every minute of it. I am a Derby County player now and I want to win with Derby County. For that 90 minutes, or 120 minutes, obviously I want Manchester United to lose. Everyone will understand that I want Derby to win in this game and after that I will go back to being a Manchester United fan and wanting them to win.”
Rooney however looks forward to catching up with his former teammates like Michael Carrick, Ole and others after the game.
