Super Falcons Star Folashade Ijamilusi Takes Flight to China After Stellar Season
Nigeria’s rising football sensation, Folashade Ijamilusi, has sealed a sensational move to Liaoning Baiye FC in the Chinese Women’s Super League, capping off a breathtaking season with Edo Queens in the NWFL Premiership.
The 23-year-old forward was unstoppable in the 2023/24 NWFL campaign, finishing as the league’s top scorer with eight goals and playing a pivotal role in Edo Queens’ title charge.
But that wasn’t all—she also spearheaded the team’s WAFU-B Women’s Champions League triumph in Côte d’Ivoire and battled fiercely as they clinched fourth place at the CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco.
