Wizkid Wins NAACP Image Award For Outstanding Duo

Wizkid has won 2020 NAACP image award for Outstanding Duo Group.

The Joro crooner won with “Brown Skin Girl” which was nominated for “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration” at the 2020 edition of the recognition.

The Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun known by his stage name as Wizkid, was nominated alongside three other Nigerians for the 51st NAACP Image Awards, CityBuzz reports.

Wizkid, Beyonce and Ivy Blue, Beyonce’s daughter were nominated for their collaboration in the “Lion King” bonus track titled “Brown Skin Girl”.

Brown Skin Girl was nominated in the Outstanding Duo, group or collaboration category, a song having Beyonce, Blue Ivy and Wizkid.
