Zenith Bank Donates ₦100m To Abule Ado Relief Fund
The Lagos State Government has received a sum of one hundred million naira (₦100, 000, 000.00) into the Abule Ado Relief Fund.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu upon his visit to the venue of Lagos, Sunday’s gas explosion created a ₦2 billion relief fund.
He then call on other state governors, well to do Nigerians, the Federal government and private sector to contribute to the fund.
Responding to the governor’s call, a commercial bank in Nigeria, Zenith Bank Plc has become the first private organization to contribute into the relief fund.
The bank donated a sum of a hundred million naira (₦100, 000, 000.00) on Wednesday, CityNews can reports.
The governor had pledged a sum of two hundred and fifty million naira (₦250, 000, 000.00) into the created fund on Monday.
Abule Ado was wrecked by an early morning gas cylinder explosion which claims lives, properties and devastating damags.
