Davido Says ‘Please I’m Sorry’ Amid Spyro and Ubi Franklin’s $5,000 Dispute
Nigerian music sensation, Davido, has found himself entangled in a financial dispute between his colleague, Spyro, and music executive Ubi Franklin.
The drama, which has captured the attention of fans, centres on allegations of deception and unpaid fees for a performance in Ghana.
Spyro recently accused Franklin of tricking him into performing at a birthday party under the pretence that Davido had requested it. According to Spyro, Franklin had agreed to pay him $5,000 for the performance but later reneged on the deal.
However, Franklin fired back, stating that Spyro still owed him money from a previous car purchase transaction. Franklin claimed Spyro was supposed to pay him a 10% facilitation fee but failed to do so. To offset this debt, Franklin said he withheld the $5,000, adding that the singer still owes him a whopping ₦2 million.
