Portable’s Latest Drama: Spiritual Manipulation or Self-Destruction

Portable’s Latest Drama: Spiritual Manipulation or Self-Destruction?

The drama surrounding controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken another shocking turn as his elder sister, Gbemisola, claims he is under a spiritual spell.

This revelation comes amid the singer’s ongoing legal battle with the Ogun State Government, which escalated after he was arraigned for allegedly assaulting government officials. Portable, currently in hiding, has pleaded for his detained associates to be released, insisting that he is being framed.

In an emotional outburst, he even hinted at taking his own life, citing extreme frustration over the situation.

The Ogun State Showdown

Portable’s troubles with the Ogun State Government began after officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development attempted to enforce regulations at his Odogwu Bar in Ogun State. Reports claim that the singer and his crew allegedly assaulted these officials, leading to a legal battle. The Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court has already arraigned nine of his associates, while Portable remains on the run, posting defiant videos from his hideout.

In his usual dramatic fashion, the Zazu Zeh crooner has challenged authorities to provide video evidence of the alleged assault, calling the case a “setup.” But amidst the chaos, his elder sister’s latest claims have taken the controversy to an entirely new level.

“Portable Is Under a Spell”— Sister Alleges

In a viral video, Gbemisola, the first child of their mother, broke down in tears while apologizing on his behalf. According to her, Portable is not acting on his own but is being spiritually controlled by a family member.

“People of Nigeria, I greet you all. I’m Portable’s eldest sister, the first child of his mother. We are just three that our mother gave birth to.
Portable has never stolen before. He hasn’t even posted me despite being his sister. But he is the only one taking care of the family. If not for him, I would have died during my sickness.
One of our family members, Akeem, is the one casting a spell on Portable. He is the one spiritually influencing Portable to misbehave and offend Nigerians.”

Spiritual Warfare or a Pattern of Controversy?

This is not the first time Portable has found himself in a messy situation. From clashes with police officers to his infamous “I am a baboon living in the zoo” outburst, the singer has consistently been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Now, with claims of spiritual manipulation surfacing, many are asking: Is Portable truly under a supernatural influence, or is this just another dramatic episode in his never-ending controversy?

While some fans believe there might be an element of truth in his sister’s claims, others argue that Portable is simply a product of his own recklessness and inability to control his emotions.

What’s Next for Portable?

With the Ogun State Government tightening its grip, Portable might have to face the law sooner rather than later. Whether he will return to clear his name or continue playing hide-and-seek with authorities remains to be seen.

One thing is certain—Portable’s drama never stops, and Nigerians will be watching closely for the next twist in this unfolding saga.
